Study to Examine Reintegration of Women Prisoners
USC social work doctoral student Gretchen Heidemann is one of six scholars to receive the Haynes Lindley Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship Award. She will use the fellowship to further her research on how women can transition successfully from incarceration back into society.
New Surgical Suite Opens at Keck Hospital of USC
On April 24, a new, 1,100-square-foot high-tech operating room opened at the Keck Hospital of USC, making it one of only three Southern California hospitals with such a facility. Known as a “hybrid OR,” the space is designed to accommodate both catheter-based and surgical treatments.
